According to a statement from the corporation, Al-Bakkar emphasized the importance of the corporation’s role in training and qualifying young people to enter the local and regional job markets.

He highlighted the need for partnerships with the private sector and the importance of aligning vocational training outcomes with the needs of the labor market.

He also stressed the significance of collaboration with all government and private institutions to achieve the priorities outlined in the Economic Modernization Vision and the Public Sector Reform Plan, aiming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of training for the targeted groups.

For his part, the corporation’s Director-General, Dr. Ahmad Al-Ghraibeh, provided an overview of the corporation's work at its 30 training institutes spread across the country and the key achievements of the institution in 2024. The corporation welcomed 9,500 trainees in 128 training programs, creating an optimal training environment for participants.

Al-Ghraibeh presented the model of distinguished vocational training centers, which are part of the royal initiative to develop culinary arts. These centers offer training that leads to 100% employment, with 50 trainees per center each training season, focusing on specialized programs in cooking and tourism, such as food production and hotel reception skills. These centers serve as a practical example of public-private partnerships, with training supported by the Royal Hashemite Court and in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and Al-Walaa Company.

Al-Ghraibeh also outlined the corporation’s work plan for 2025, which includes vital and strategic projects such as completing the setup of eight distinguished centers and continuing culinary arts centers in Aqaba and Irbid. The plan also includes supporting the establishment of the Jordanian-Moroccan training institute in Morocco.

In the context of employment-driven training, the corporation aims to expand its partnerships and launch specialized training projects to provide job opportunities for its graduates in foreign markets such as Canada, Germany, the United States, and Poland. Additionally, the plan focuses on enhancing the training system by improving infrastructure, updating training programs, and creating new specialties that meet labor market needs.

Al-Ghraibeh presented the corporation's budget for 2024 and 2025, noting that the total budget for 2024 was 16 million dinars, with 31% allocated to capital expenditures. He explained that the corporation had increased the capital expenditure percentage to 35% in the 2025 budget, focusing on building new institutes and workshops, maintaining existing infrastructure, and equipping them with the latest tools and equipment. The budget also saw an increase in grants and equipment from international organizations, rising from 1.2 million dinars in 2024 to 2 million dinars in 2025.
