Accompanied by the Director General of the Government Tenders Department, Engineer Mahmoud Khleifat, Abu Al-Samen reviewed the various stages of implementation, noting that the project has reached a completion rate of 34%. He stressed the importance of full adherence to the approved designs and engineering plans to ensure the building becomes the first government facility to meet green building requirements by applying green building codes, incorporating natural lighting, and utilizing clean energy sources.

Abu Al-Samen indicated that the building, which is expected to be fully completed by April next year, will contribute to enhancing the quality of services provided by the Government Tenders Department to various government units, partners, and service recipients. It will do so by offering a modern work environment and advanced facilities.

The building’s design reflects national architectural identity infused with contemporary elements, while creating a worker-friendly environment that aligns with green building standards.

Additionally, the building will feature halls equipped with live audio and video broadcasting services for tender opening sessions, enhancing transparency in procedures. It will also include a specialized training center in government procurement, aimed at boosting staff competencies and ensuring a sustainable pipeline of qualified personnel to support government operations with high-quality service delivery.
