In her remarks during her participation on Wednesday evening in the side event titled "Arab Women Towards Creativity and Innovation: The Era of the Industrial Revolution" held on the sidelines of the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women in New York, she emphasized that the driver of leadership and creativity is Jordan's bridge to a prosperous future. She added that His Majesty's economic modernization vision aims to achieve sustainable growth and improve the quality of life for new generations through focusing on eight key drivers, including leadership, creativity, and future services.

She explained that thanks to the security and stability Jordan enjoys, it has become a vibrant hub for creativity and entrepreneurship, with a supportive environment that nurtures innovative ideas and provides the tools needed to transform them into tangible achievements. This has been evident in many areas such as education, scientific research, curriculum development, and the introduction of specialized programs and new fields of study at universities to keep up with developments such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. She also highlighted the establishment of business incubators and accelerators, including the Crown Prince Foundation, the Innovation Support Fund, the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau, and Oasis 500, which contribute to turning ideas into viable projects.

Bani Mustafa also pointed to the creative industries and technology sectors, where Jordanian startups are competing globally in fields such as fintech, e-commerce, software development, and artificial intelligence, noting the success of several entrepreneurial companies both locally and internationally.

She called for the need to enhance the culture of creativity in society by providing educational and encouraging environments that support critical thinking and problem-solving, alongside investing in research and development. She emphasized that empowering both youth and women is essential, as they are the main drivers of innovation.

Bani Mustafa also highlighted that despite the potential developments brought about by the technological revolution, the ethics of dealing with it are an issue that deserves attention. She explained that, through artificial intelligence, the phenomenon of deepfake has emerged, allowing for the realistic forgery of images and videos, which can lead to media deception, fraud, and violations of privacy. Artificial intelligence relies on big data analysis, which could lead to privacy breaches and unethical use of personal information.

It is worth noting that the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women, chaired this year by Saudi Arabia, focuses on presenting and evaluating the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, reviewing the outcomes of the 23rd special session of the General Assembly, and evaluating current challenges impacting the implementation of the platform and achieving gender equality, women's empowerment, and their contribution to the full realization of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
