AMMAN — The Ministry of Health on Saturday announced that starting Sunday, it will begin giving COVID-19 booster shots to those with a compromised immune system. اضافة اعلان
The third jab will be available from Sundays to Thursdays from 9am to 3pm.
Those who wish to take a third jab must provide a proof that they have, or have undergone:
- Cancer
- Transplant
- Bone marrow transplant “during the past two years” and they must be on -immunosuppression medications
- Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)
- Regularly take cortisone at high quantities or other immunosuppression medications
- Dialysis
- Autoimmune diseases, including: rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus fever
- Multiple sclerosis
- Psoriasis
- Type 1 diabetes
- Guillain-Barre syndrome
- A genetic disease, including Down syndrome or DiGeorge syndrome.
