Ministry condemns Israeli actions against Christians celebrating Holy Saturday

AMMAN —  Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday condemned Israeli actions restricting Christians' entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on the occasion of Holy Saturday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Ministry's Spokesperson Haitham Abu Alfoul said all Israeli measures targeting the freedom of Christians in performing their rituals and limiting prayers' count are rejected and denounced. He stressed that Israel, the occupying power, should respect Jerusalem's legal and historical status quo and halt restricting measures on Christians.
