AMMAN - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation and the Water Authority of Jordan floated a tender to replace a worn out 3.5km-long sewage pipeline in Ramtha, which was installed in 1984, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said that the tender was floated to come up with a permanent solution for malfunctions and leakage issues from the pipeline.
The ministry is doing its utmost to ensure that the various challenges facing the sector are addressed, asking citizens to understand such circumstances that are "beyond its control," adding that the ministry's staff is closely following up on the improvement of water and sanitation services.
