AMMAN — The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has announced the launch of a tender to supply, install, and operate solar-powered heating systems for low-income families residing in the southern, northern, and central regions of the Kingdom.

Rasmi Hamza, the director of the Jordan Renewable Energy and
Energy Efficiency Fund, stated that the tender aims to equip 400 homes per
region with solar heating systems, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to encourage
sustainable energy practices and alleviate the financial burden of high
household electricity bills.
Accessing tender information
Prospective bidders interested in participating in the
tender can obtain electronic copies of the tender invitation from the
ministry's website.
The availability of the tender documents will be from July 6
to July 13, allowing interested parties to review the requirements and submit
their proposals accordingly.
Hamza further added that any inquiries regarding the tender
can be addressed by sending emails to

[email protected].
The deadline for submitting inquiries is scheduled for
Tuesday, July 18. Bidders are requested to submit their completed proposals by
July 27.
