AMMAN — The Ministry of Education on
Tuesday launched the “Safe Return to School Guide” for the second semester,
which contains a number of health guidelines for students to return to their
classrooms safely, according to Al-Rai daily.
Ministry of Education Spokesman Ahmad Al-Masafa said
that the new semester will start, as decided, on February 20, adding that
ministry is keen on implementing Defense Order No. 35, which stipulates that
everyone who has reached the age of 18 must receive two doses of vaccine.
The ministry is working to amend the mechanism by
which school children line up in the morning queue, he said, adding that and
the guide prohibits the sale of exposed foods at the school canteen.
