Amman– The Ministry of Agriculture announced today its intention to attract investors for the establishment of a sugar production and refining factory from sugar beet in the areas of Azraq and Wadi Araba.

This initiative is part of the economic modernization vision, the national sustainable agriculture plan, and the investment pillar.
The Ministry stated that interested and serious investors are invited to submit a complete economic feasibility study for the project at all its stages.
All proposals will be evaluated by a specialized technical committee, which will select the most competent and economically viable proposal.
Interested investors are required to submit their technical proposals and project studies to the Ministry’s Investment Encouragement Directorate at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, January 30th.
