Minister of Culture, Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, announced that the Ministry, in cooperation with other ministries and national institutions, has prepared a diverse program of events to celebrate Jordanian Flag Day on April 16. This year’s celebration is being treated as a unifying national event that reinforces the symbolism and meaning of the Jordanian flag. It serves as a moment for Jordanians to remember the sacrifices made by their forefathers to keep the flag raised high — a lasting symbol of the nation's memory and heroic legacy, present in every official and national occasion.
The national celebration plan, coordinated among all ministries and institutions, includes on-the-ground and media activities designed to promote pride, loyalty, and national belonging. It aims to embed the flag as a constant part of the visual and social landscape across the Kingdom.
The main event will take place at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 16, with a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony in all governorates at designated celebration sites.

Use of official slogans: #علمنا_عالٍ / #يوم_العلم_الأردني
Distribution of flags to citizens, homes, and vehicles to be displayed in neighborhoods and on main roads
Installation of electronic billboards with the flag and campaign slogans
Lighting of the Roman Theater in Amman
Flag-raising ceremonies in school courtyards
A student march to the Parliamentary Life Museum
Launch of the campaign’s official visual identity
An evening cultural event organized by the Ministry of Culture in Jabal Amman
Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan has also instructed all ministries, official departments, institutions, and public entities to prepare for this national event by raising the Jordanian flag on their buildings in various sizes and to follow the official campaign page “#علمنا_عال”.
