Ministry of Digital Economy calls for bids for e-passport services in Jordan

AMMAN – The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship has launched a tender for the purchase, delivery, and maintenance of electronic passport solutions in Jordan. اضافة اعلان

The e-passport services are expected to include an electronic chip that stores all information about the passport holder.

Invitation to bidThe ministry has invited specialized local or international companies to participate in the tender for the e-passport services. Interested companies may work individually or in a consortium with other companies.

Companies interested in bidding for the project are required to send a request to the Procurement Committee via e-mail [email protected], providing their contact information, an official certified copy of the authorized signatory's certificate, and a copy of the price receipt for a non-refundable amount of JD5,000.

The date for purchasing the documents starts on May 4, 2023, until June 6, 2023. Technical shows for the project are expected to start in the Ministry's building on June 7, 2023.

GuidelinesThe ministry stated that a guarantee or check for entering the tender should be in the name of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, valid for 120 days from the submission of offers, and in a separate sealed envelope with a value of JD100.

The ministry has the right to cancel the bid without providing any financial, legal, or other claim towards any of the bidders.
