AMMAN —
Minister of Environment, Muawieh Al-Radaideh,
announced the launch of the
Ministry of Environment's strategy for the years
2023–2025, which coincides with the national development programs across
various economic, administrative, and political sectors.

Radaideh said that this strategy focuses on a set of main
objectives, including green growth, protection of biodiversity,
climate leadership, improvement of local environmental quality, proper and
sustainable waste management, enhancement of environmental awareness, and raising the level
of institutional work within the ministry, Hala News reported.
He emphasized that protecting the
environment and maintaining ecological balance is a challenge for all of us, but with
cooperation and determination, positive results can be achieved, preserving a
sustainable environment for future generations.
He appreciated the efforts of the
German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and its continuous support for the Ministry of
Environment, as well as its assistance in preparing this strategy.
