AMMAN — On Tuesday, The Ministry of Health issued a statement expressing its deep sadness over the death of the child, Leen, who passed away on the fifth of this month in Al-Bashir Hospital.
The Ministry decided to conduct an investigation regarding the death incident using a medical, administrative, and legal team composed of the Ministry of Health and the Hashemite University, separately from the investigation committee formed on Monday by the administration of Al-Bashir Hospitals.
The investigation team will issue the results in 24 hours, according to the ministry, and will hold accountable any who are proven to have been negligent.
On Tuesday morning, a specialized work team from the Ministry was also sent to Al-Bashir Hospitals to be there during all days of the week, around the clock, to monitor the progress of daily operations and procedures in the hospital until further notice.
