Ministry of Higher Education: Scholarships Offered by South Korea
Amman- The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced today, Thursday, the availability of scholarships for all academic programs (bachelor's, master's, PhD) offered by South Korea for the academic year 2025-2026. The scholarships cover tuition fees, a monthly allowance, a one-time airfare, meal allowances, and health insurance.اضافة اعلان

The ministry indicated in a statement that the scholarship, offered by the Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology (GIST), includes specializations in electrical engineering, computer science, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering and robotics, environmental and energy engineering, humanities, physics, photonics science, chemistry, biomedical engineering and technology, as well as energy governance.

The ministry pointed out that the application requirements include having a TOEFL (IBT) score of 80 or an IELTS score of 6.5, with no more than two years having passed since obtaining the test.

The ministry confirmed that the deadline for a
pplying to the bachelor’s program is until February 11, 2025, while the application period for graduate programs will be from March 14, 2025, to April 14, 2025.

The ministry also noted that to maintain the scholarship, students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.5 during their studies and comply with the 2023 guidelines for equivalency of non-Jordanian certificates.
