According to a statement from the Ministry, the ministers met during the fifth session of the Higher Committee for Industrial Partnership and Integrated Sustainable Economic Development, held yesterday in Doha, Qatar. They explored avenues for bilateral economic cooperation between Jordan and these countries, aiming to stimulate the private sector and entrepreneurs to establish investment partnerships across various sectors.

During the committee meetings, several agreements were signed, and strategic projects worth over two billion dollars were announced. These projects aim to strengthen partnerships and integration between the member countries in sectors such as metal, pharmaceutical, and plastic industries, developing industries related to healthy foods, boosting innovation in biotechnology, and supporting electrical industries and advanced technologies.

Al-Qudah emphasized that the Jordanian government, under the guidance and follow-up of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and in partnership with various private sector entities, is working to enhance the capabilities of Jordanian industrial institutions. This effort aims to help them play a more prominent role in industrial partnerships with counterparts in partner countries. This includes acquiring modern expertise in production processes based on efficient use of raw materials and alternative energy, improving product quality to meet market standards, and enhancing the ability to access global markets.
