Ministry spokesperson, Yanal Al-Barmawi, stated in a press release to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Sunday that the inspection teams will carry out intensive campaigns during the second half of the holy month, targeting food stores, butcher shops, restaurants, bakeries, and other outlets. The teams will conduct three rounds of inspections, continuing until after midnight, to ensure compliance with market regulations, especially in terms of price announcements and adherence to promotions and discounts advertised by businesses.

Al-Barmawi emphasized that there has been significant compliance from traders with the laws and regulations governing market activities. He also pointed out that alongside the monitoring plan, the Ministry has been implementing an awareness campaign regarding the Industrial and Trade Laws and Consumer Protection since the beginning of Ramadan.

The Ministry has been executing a market monitoring plan since the start of the month, extending until the end of Ramadan, aiming to ensure the availability of goods at reasonable prices.

Al-Barmawi called on citizens to report any violations to the Ministry through its hotline at 5661176/06, provincial phones, the Ministry's mobile app, the "Bikhidmitkum" e-platform, the official website, or its Facebook page. (Petra)
