Ministry of Water reports 3% reduction in water loss

AMMAN — Omar Salama, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, announced that the ministry has reduced water loss by 3 percent, bringing it down from 52 percent to 49 percent. اضافة اعلان

Salama highlighted the ministry's efforts, including improvements to pipelines, installation of new meters, and addressing violations, as the key contributors to this reduction, Khaberni reported.

 However, he pointed out that despite these efforts, ongoing violations against water sources persist, particularly as the country grapples with increasing water scarcity and rising temperatures.
