Ministry provided cash assistance to 4,751 families in July

AMMAN — The Ministry of Social Development released its report for the past month of July on Monday, detailing the key services provided, procedures undertaken, and supervisory visits conducted across various regions of the Kingdom. As per the report, the Ministry extended cash and in-kind assistance to 4,751 families. Regarding the efforts of the Anti-Begging Directorate, the report disclosed that 264 campaigns were executed to combat begging, resulting in the apprehension of 588 male and female beggars.اضافة اعلان

The ministry's departments in the provinces and governorates conducted 810 visits, processing 8,145 transactions related to social studies aimed at providing health insurance for impoverished families. Furthermore, 189 transactions were processed for medical expense exemptions, and 79 transactions were conducted to settle heirs' rights, Hala News reported.

Licenses and penaltiesThe report highlighted that the Ministry granted licenses to 8 nurseries while issuing warning penalties to 2 nurseries to rectify their conditions and enhance daytime childcare services.

Additionally, the Ministry placed 3 elderly individuals in senior care centers and 53 children in residential child care facilities. It also received 22 applications for the admission of elderly individuals to senior care centers and organized 180 events in education and rehabilitation centers for young people.

Through social service offices, the Ministry conducted 628 studies for young people, along with 4 studies for the inclusion of disabled individuals. In terms of the general registry of associations, 13 associations were registered, with 10 joining the union's membership. Temporary administrative bodies were established for 12 associations, while 11 temporary administrative bodies concluded their tasks for associations.

Overall development of the community
The ministry carried out 23 studies for productive families and received 24 requests for funding of developmental projects from associations. Furthermore, 82 requests were received from associations for grants, pertaining to the overall development of the community.
