AMMAN —
Minister of Agriculture
Khaled Al-Hneifat said that the ministry dealt with about 95 percent of the 586
complaints the Ministry of Agriculture received during the inclement weather
conditions, according to Al-Mamlaka.

The complaints were mostly about fallen
trees that blocked the roads or fell over electricity cables.
The ministry sent staff and teams
from other governorates to Amman to be able to address the issue as promptly as
possible, said the minister.
Hneifat also said that he
directed the ministry staff to follow up on the complaints, and count the trees
that fell on the premises of some institutions and sports venues, in order to
provide these places with double the number of fallen trees.
