AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, through its
operations center and in coordination with the Jordanian Embassy in Khartoum,
is following up on conditions of Jordanian citizens residing in Sudan after a
coup took place on Monday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry
called on citizens in Sudan to take the utmost care and caution, and to avoid
gathering areas.
