Ministry to issue ‘symbolic payments’ to vaccination volunteers

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health will disburse “symbolic payments” to volunteers at vaccination centers, Minister of Health Feras Al-Hawari said on Friday.اضافة اعلان

In a TV interview, Hawari added that should the vaccination pace continue to accelerate, and the country is able to reach the 3 million inoculated people target by the end of June, the gradual reopening of sectors will lead to a rise in COVID-19 infections, but they would not constitute a third wave, similar to the previous one.

The minister noted that it is still too early for Jordanians to abandon the mask mandate, and that they must continue to adhere to the precautionary protocols for the time being.
