AMMAN— The German Jordanian University signed a memorandum of understanding with the
Jordan River Foundation for cooperation in the vocational and technical training field, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The memorandum was signed by Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, the President of the German Jordanian University, and the foundation's director general, Enaam Barrishi.
A statement issued by the foundation today, Friday, indicated the memorandum provides for cooperation in the consultancy and partnership field to launch and implement various training programs through workshops and projects.
Halhouli said that the MoU will qualify and empower a large number of young people with technical skills that will build their capabilities, in addition to preparing a modern training system approved by the German system, noting that the Jordan River Foundation is a strategic partner to the university in many visions and aspirations towards preparing a generation that is qualified to work and has technical and knowledge skills to help their communities, based on the needs of the private and public sector and the market.
