Mobile phone stores account for some 10,000 jobs in Jordan

AMMAN — The mobile phone market provides some 10,000 jobs across the Kingdom, head of the Association for Mobile Investors (Vision), Ahmad Alloush, said on Sunday.اضافة اعلان

Speaking to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Alloush said that the sector includes about 2,500 stores throughout the country but is facing some obstacles preventing merchants from growing their businesses.

The head of the association, stressed the need to strengthen partnership between the public and private sectors, pointing to continued cooperation with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce to serve the sector's interest.

The association aims at creating an umbrella for the mobile phone sector and regulating the relationship between the sector's agents and traders, he noted.
