AMMAN — The weather on Sunday is expected to be fair in the
highlands and the plains, relatively hot in the Badia areas, and hot in the
Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and
Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate to brisk
winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its daily brief.

Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will
continue to prevail in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in
other regions, with northwesterly moderate to active winds at times, the JMD
added, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra .
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the
Kingdom will range between 27°C and 31°C on Sunday, dropping at night to
17°C or even 13°C in the southern highlands.
In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter with mercury
reaching a high of 37°C and a low of 23°C.
