AMMAN — A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on
Wednesday, but fair weather conditions will prevail in the highlands and the
plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the
Kingdom, with northwesterly
moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its
daily brief.

Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will
continue to persist with northwesterly moderate to active winds at times, the
JMD added, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on
Wednesday will range between 29°C and 33°C, dropping at night to
18°C or 13°C in the southern highlands. In the port city of Aqaba, it will
be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 39°C and a low of 24°C.
