AMMAN — Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported that normal
summer conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday in the highlands and the
plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, according
to the
Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to appear in the northern and central
regions, the JMD added, urging the public to avoid direct exposure to sunlight,
especially at noon, in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Friday and Saturday are expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with
northwesterly moderate to active winds, the meteorologists predicted.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Thursday will
range between 33 and 28°C,
dropping at night to 22°C or even 16°C in the
southern highlands.
In Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury hitting a high of 40°C and a low of 28°C, according to Petra.
