AMMAN — A slight rise in temperatures is expected on
Wednesday, bringing relatively hot weather in most parts of the Kingdom, except
in the highlands and the plains where it will be fair, with northwesterly
moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its
daily brief.

Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will
continue to persist, with westerly to northwesterly moderate to active winds,
blowing dust in the Badia at times, the JMD added, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom
today will range between 26°C and 31°C, dropping to 20°C or even 14°C during the night in the southern highlands. In the port city of Aqaba, it will
be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 38°C and a low of 27°C.
