AMMAN — Temperatures on Sunday are expected to mark
3-4°C below annual average, so fair weather conditions will prevail
countrywide, with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing
dust in the Badia, the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its daily
update.

On Monday, similar moderate weather will remain in the
highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the
Kingdom, with clouds at various altitudes and a chance of light showers in the
northern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
Toward Tuesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees,
becoming around seasonal average, making fair weather in the hilly areas and
the plains, and hot conditions in other areas of the country, with
medium-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on
Sunday will range between 21°C and 25°C, dropping at night to 15°C or even 11°C
in the southern highlands. In the gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter
with mercury reaching a high of 33°C and a low of 22°C.
