AMMAN — A drop in temperatures is expected on
Tuesday, bringing back fair weather in the
highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the
Kingdom,
with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the desert.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD), a
further dip in mercury is predicted on Wednesday, so it will be moderate over
the mountains and the plains, and relatively hot in other regions, with low
clouds in the northern and central areas of the country.
No significant change on the weather is forecast for
Thursday, the JMD said.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on
Tuesday will range between 27 and 31 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 17°C or even 12°C in the southern highlands. In the port city of Aqaba, it will be
much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 41°C and a low of 22°C.
