Minister of Government Communication and official spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani held a press conference following the Cabinet session held Tuesday morning in Ajloun Governorate.اضافة اعلان

Al-Momani expressed pride in the efforts of Jordan’s security agencies, including the Armed Forces and General Intelligence Department, stressing:

“Our security forces are the apple of His Majesty the King's eye.”

He emphasized that national unity is safeguarded and will remain untouched, calling for a level of advanced awareness befitting the country and its achievements.

“Our internal front is strong in the face of challenges, and our security agencies are a solid barrier against any attempts to destabilize us,” he stated.

Quoting Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, Al-Momani said:

“The homeland is our top priority, nothing comes before Jordan. Our national unity will remain the driving force for our journey into the future.”

He also explained that holding the Cabinet session in Ajloun aligns with the government’s field-based approach, aiming to establish a comprehensive development vision for each governorate in partnership with local communities.

Cabinet Decisions from the Ajloun Session:
To support the tourism sector, the Cabinet made several key decisions, including:

Approval of the draft system for tourist restaurants for 2025 and an amendment to the system of the Jordanian Association of Tourist Restaurants.

Approval of the draft system for traditional and folk crafts and industries and their trade for 2025, and an amendment to the system of the Jordanian Association for Traditional and Folk Crafts and Traders.

Approval of the draft system for the preservation of national documents for 2025.

Approval to form the National Committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Approval of a memorandum of understanding for organizing the 7th Jordanian International Date Festival in 2025.
