AMMAN — Airport customs Director Colonel
Muhammad Al-Masaeed said that 80,931 people arrived in Jordan through
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) during Eid Al-Fitr holiday aboard 727
flights, and that his department provided visitors with “the best services”,
according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

Masaeed added that “in order to facilitate the entry
procedures for travelers, the center’s management worked throughout the
Eid holiday, activating the emergency plan at the customs center around the clock,
by organizing the work of customs cadres to match the number of incoming
visitors, pilgrims, and tourists.”
“The work was carried out in one integrated system
with all the security agencies and authorities operating at the airport, which
contributed to a smooth and speedy provision of services to travelers,” he
added.
Director-General of the
Customs Department Maj. Gen Jalal Al-Qudah praised “the efforts made by all customs
cadres working in the border customs centers during the Eid”, and offered
“great thanks and gratitude to all customs cadres for their support, for their
distinguished efforts, and their continuous cooperation with the security
services in order to achieve the interests of the citizens and serve the
country”.
