Murder of female college student infuriates Jordanians

AMMAN — The murder of a college student, allegedly at the hands of her brother and father on Wednesday has enraged Jordanians, especially as the reason is reportedly her poor academic performance.اضافة اعلان

The hashtag #رانيا العبادي Rania Al Abbadi, topped local trends on Twitter Thursday morning, with more than 13,000 tweets and counting. 

The father reportedly confessed to the killing of his daughter, who, according to posts on social media, failed a course at university and risked losing her scholarship.
