Karak - Mutah University's College of Engineering earned international accreditation (ABET) for its bachelor's degree programs in electrical and chemical engineering on Sunday.

Jamal Bani Salama, Dean of the College, informed the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that this esteemed accreditation highlights the exceptional quality of the college’s engineering programs and the persistent efforts of its staff over many years.
This achievement underscores the faculty’s commitment to meeting quality standards, which is evident in the caliber of its graduates and contributes to the university's esteemed academic reputation, he added.
Salama Al-Naimat, President of the University, extended congratulations to the College of Engineering, its faculty members, and students for this significant scientific accomplishment.
He emphasized the university's dedication to advancing excellence across all its programs, which is reflected in its academic and research standing and progress in global rankings, noting the university's notable achievements in recent years.
