AMMAN — Gaps exist in search engines and
browsers on the Internet, which can be used by hackers to infiltrate cellular
phones and other smart devices, said Bassam Al-Maharmeh, director of the
National Center for Cyber security (NCSC), according to a local news outlet.

Maharmeh said the gaps are found in operating systems,
such as “Google” and “Microsoft”.
Cyber security expert Majdi Al-Qabalin warned that mobile
phones are vulnerable, due to the risks they may be exposed to. He said that
hackers can take control of the smart phones through special programs, using
its content.
