AMMAN — Minister of State for Legal Affairs, Nancy Namrouqa, stressed the "deep-rooted, historic" relations between Jordan and the United Kingdom, affirming keenness to continue joint "strategic" cooperation at all levels, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Receiving British Ambassador to Jordan, Bridget Brind, on Thursday, Namrouqa reviewed Jordan's three political, economic and administrative modernization paths, which are led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Namrouqa noted the government is working to implement this reform scheme as a state project, referring to its importance in providing better services to citizens and enhancing their participation in political and partisan life, especially women and youth.
For her part, the envoy lauded Jordan's "remarkable" role, under His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership, in its comprehensive modernization process.
Stressing the "solid" relations between the two countries, Brind affirmed the need to maintain contact and partnership, in a bid to achieve the two countries' desired progress in various fields.
