AMMAN — The activities of the second
National Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Competition concluded on Saturday,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The event was organized by Zaha Cultural
Center in cooperation with Zoe Smart Systems Company.
At least 30 teams from across Jordan took
part in the competition, which was considered one of the activities to celebrate
Irbid as the Arab Capital for Culture for 2022.
Jadara University President Taleeb Obidat, a
sponsor of the concluding ceremony, voiced jubilation while commending the
young participants.
He said the event reflected the aspiration
of Jordanian institutions to support creativity, which indicates that the
Kingdom will be a regional center for creativity in the field of AI, following
the footsteps of countries like the US, China, Sweden and Singapore.
Results of the winning teams were announced
in the concluding ceremony, and Obidat distributed the prizes on the winners,
as well as a panel of judges.
The national AI competition culminated in three
winning teams to be taking part in international competitions in China.
