AMMAN — The
National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking approved their national strategy for the years 2023-2026 during a meeting held on Thursday, at the Ministry of Justice headquarters.

The meeting was attended by the
Minister of Justice, who is also the chairman of the committee, the Attorney General, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice for Judicial Affairs, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Labor, the General Commissioner of the National Center for Human Rights, the Director of the
Criminal Investigation Department, and committee members representing various ministries and relevant authorities.
The strategy comprises four pillars: prevention, protection, initial investigation and judicial prosecution, and international partnership and cooperation. It encompasses twelve strategic objectives and
several sub-objectives, along with an implementation plan to achieve them.
