AMMAN— Lower
House Speaker Abdulkarim Al Doghmi said that the house through its legal
committee will launch a national dialogue with parties, the Jordanian NGOs and
citizens to discuss elections and political parties draft laws, according to
the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

interview on Friday, Al Doghmi contended the Lower House will work on the
constitutional amendments prior the elections and political parties draft laws.
He stressed
the importance of broadcasting all the activities implemented in this regard by
various media outlet, describing the work of the current lawmakers as a
"transition phase."
On the
Palestinian cause, Al Doghmi reiterated His Majesty King Abdullah's three rejections,
"No alternative homeland, no settlement and no meddling with the Hashemite
Custodianship of Jerusalem", adding that the Lower House, through the Arab
Parliament, is working to enhance pan-Arab ties and protect the rights of the
Palestinian people.
