The railway will be used to transport passengers and goods, serving beneficiaries of both countries.

At a talk organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Jasser said that his country is seeking to facilitate trade and transport, particularly with Jordan, which has deep ties with Saudi Arabia.

The Jordanian and Saudi sides tackle all operational and legislative challenges in order to improve operations and raise them to the highest international standards, especially in terms of safety, quality and environment, according to Jasser.
