Hijjawi said that the number of people who took the
third dose is still low and expressed hope that the numbers will increase.
He said that the epidemiological situation is
determined by individual countries, and that Jordanians should wear masks as a
precautionary measure to help stem the spread of diseases in general.
According to Hijjawi, the Epidemiology Committee is
still meeting regularly to follow up on the latest developments related to the
COVID-19 pandemic.
He urged citizens to take all three doses of vaccine
to maintain the epidemiological situation stable, pointing out that 650,000
people have taken the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far in Jordan.
