AMMAN —
Jordan Food and Drug Administration Director-General Nizar Mhaidat said the
administration will address the customs director general to ensure that no
medicine, irrespective of the amount, gets into the country without the
approval of FDA, Addustour Daily reported.

Mhaidat added that FDA stopped electronic
applications marketing medicine and pharmaceuticals, as they are illegal, use
unsafe means of transportations, and damage the reputation of pharmacies and
their employees.
He demanded an increase in the percentage of
administrative expenses for pharmacies, which haven’t risen rise in 50 years.
