He added that the ministry has
vaccinated 42 percent of the target group, about 4.5 million people, and that
the full figure set to be reached by the first of September.
He told Al-Mamlaka TV channel that
the recent gradual opening of sectors has had a “clear positive impact”, warning,
however, that “we must prepare ourselves for a possible increase in cases, and
we hope that there will be no new wave, and we expect the number of cases to
rise again.”
Hawari noted that Jordan’s hospital
capacity has increased by 500 beds since the end of Ramadan.
