AMMAN — Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases Adel Al-Balbisi said on
Monday that there is no official decision regarding a fourth booster dose of
anti-coronavirus vaccine in Jordan, according to Ammon News.
Balbisi said that
a fourth dose is given to elderly people three months after they receive the
third dose, to people who took doses of the Sinopharm vaccine and asked for a
dose of the Pfizer vaccine, or for people who, for the purpose of traveling,
had to get a fourth dose to enter some countries.
The Ministry of Health has started giving the third dose to
those 18 years and older since mid-November.
