AMMAN — Looking ahead to Tuesday, a slight
drop in temperature is expected, ushering in a return to
normal summer conditions over mountainous areas and plains until Wednesday. Meanwhile, the
Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to see hot
weather.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between
29°C and 34°C in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows
of 21°C or even 16°C in the southern highlands at night.
The Gulf city of Aqaba will have scorching weather, with highs of 42°C and lows of 27°C, Jordan News Agency, Petra
reported.
In its daily brief, the
Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD) warns of the danger of direct exposure to
sunlight during peak hours, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and
Aqaba.
