AMMAN — Queen Alia International Airport handled a total of 5,266
inbound and outbound aircraft in September, down seven percent from
August, according to Haitham Misto, Chief Commissioner of the
Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).اضافة اعلان
Misto told the Jordan News Agency, Petra that the total aircraft movement at
the airport so far this year comes to 31,539 to and from 69 direct destinations.
Similarly, passenger traffic dropped by 16 percent in September to just 558,000
travelers. The daily average of inbound and outbound flights stood at 176 compared
to 46 in 2020, and 226 in 2019, Misto said. This year to date the airport
welcomed just over three million passengers.
