The sit-in, called by Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council (JNMC), came after the Ministry of Health had “shut the door of negotiations over the overtime allowance”, said the council, which accused the concerned authorities and decision-makers of ignoring the nurses and not appreciating their efforts.
