Oil Imports Decline by 6.1% in Early 2024
Amman - The value of Jordan's imports of crude oil and mineral oils decreased in the first third of 2024, reaching JD 925 million compared to JD 985 million for the same period last year.اضافة اعلان

Foreign trade data from the Department of Statistics revealed a 6.1 percent decline in the Kingdom’s oil bill during this period, amounting to a reduction of approximately JD 60 million.

Fuel and mineral oils topped the list of imported petroleum derivatives, valued at JD 299 million. This was followed by crude oil at JD 271 million, petroleum spirits (gasoline) at JD 161 million, diesel (solar) at JD 174 million, lubricating oils at JD 12 million, and kerosene at JD 8 million.
