Amman – Oil prices fell on Wednesday as markets assessed U.S. President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national energy emergency aimed at reducing crude prices.

According to Bloomberg, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped by 0.42% to $75.51 per barrel, while global benchmark Brent crude futures declined by 0.29% to $79.06 per barrel, based on trading data.
