Amman – Oil prices surged to their highest levels since October today, Monday, as investors anticipate the impact of cold weather in the Northern Hemisphere and economic stimulus measures in China on global fuel demand.

According to Bloomberg, Brent crude futures rose by 15 cents to reach $76.66 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures climbed 22 cents to $74.18 per barrel.
