AMMAN —The Oil Products Pricing Committee at the
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources decided, at the direction of the government and for the second consecutive month, to maintain the current prices of basic oil derivatives (diesel, kerosene, and
gas) for May.

The committee, in a statement, said that it held its monthly meeting on Friday, chaired by the committee chairman and secretary general of the ministry, Amani Al-Azzam, to determine the prices of petroleum derivatives locally, for the month of May. The statement added that during the meeting, the international prices of crude oil and oil derivatives for the month of April were reviewed and compared to the prices for March.
The committee decided, for the second consecutive month, to keep the price of 90 octane gasoline at 760 fils per liter, the price of 95 octane gasoline at 980 fils per liter, the price of diesel at 555 fils per liter, and the price of kerosene at 460 fils per liter. The committee also kept the price of a
gas cylinders at 7JD per cylinder.
